As a younger company that entered the busy cybersecurity industry in 2021, the real opportunity for Astrix Security came with educating the C-suite about the evolving threat landscape related to non-human identities.
In addition to pursuing educational campaigns across the tech and security trade media, we leveraged high-profile breaking news breaches to insert ourselves into trending conversation and established a thought leadership program for the company’s CEO via bylines, written Q&As and podcasts interviews. To stand out within the competitive landscape, we helped Astrix secure notable industry awards and shine at trade shows with key media connections. Lastly, we leveraged industry data and research to establish the company’s credibility while further emphasizing the criticality of securing all non-human identities (API keys, OAuth apps and service accounts, etc.).
Results
In 10 short months, we garnered more than 361M impressions (more than $3M in advertising value equivalency) through top placements in tech trade, cybersecurity and business publications like TechCrunch, WSJ, Forbes, Dark Reading, TechRadar, IT Pro Today, Axios and other key outlets. By drastically increasing Astrix’s media visibility, the company’s customer base grew five-fold, they opened a US HQ, secured a finalist spot within the cybersecurity industry’s most notable startup competition and secured Series A funding.
