As one of the largest startup accelerators, gener8tor sought to garner additional exposure for some of their newer programs, leadership hires, as well as their unique OnRamp Conference Series, which brings together industry-specific corporations, investors and startups.
By leveraging gener8tor’s long-standing leadership within the startup community, we showcased the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting innovation across a broad range of environments — local communities, corporate environments, and within specific industry sectors. We invited local and industry media to attend their Education and Workforce, Agriculture, Healthcare and Manufacturing conferences, elevated gener8tor’s ongoing commitment to supporting underserved entrepreneurs through the Northwestern Mutual Black Founder Accelerator, and spotlighted their workforce skills program that spurs economic development in states like Wyoming, a partnership with Microsoft. The goal was to spark new connections and potential partnerships with corporations and municipalities, as well as engage startup founders.
Results
While our project-based work supported a broad range of specific programs, we also wanted to secure opportunities that spotlighted gener8tor’s leadership. We placed a thought leadership byline in Crunchbase News, secured a feature in Essence, as well as a 10th anniversary story in Madison Magazine, the city where it all began. Our conference-related coverage resulted in 1.45M potential views in local and industry media like Healthcare Innovation, Nebraska Farmer, Contracting Business, Austin Startups and others. Targeted efforts for specific accelerator programs in new cities resulted in placements in publications like ImpactAlpha, Las Vegas Sun and Wyoming News Now.
